If he played on a team that wasnt so deep at C he would probably have better stats. It's a shame his contract is so big he wont get a chance to prove it. He would be a great grab for the oilers were it not for the contract.

He would be no where near their worst contract.

Just because you already have bad contracts doesnt mean you pick up more less bad contracts. And at 6 years and 5 million it would be their worst contract unless he ups his game. It takes him till he is 36.
