Because kessel is one of the premier offensive players in the league (even if he is completely useless with regards to everything outside scoring goals)

The media affecting our team/prospects is getting to be suuuuch an old excuse. This team just blows and has for the last 15 years or so. I personally blame upper management for continuing on with patch job after patch job.
