Lol at these sportscasters saying leafs fans can breath a sigh of relief now that they won last night.

What leafs fans are pulling for wins atm? SMFH

+1...but in typical leaf fashion, I can see us going on a stretch now and finishing 11th in the conference, which would be brutal. Just hope they keep losing.

The coaching staff will be different and there's going to be a significant amount of roster turnover...winning isn't going to save their season. They just need to play out the string and evaluate as many guys as they can in the next 30 games. I doubt they bottom out and catch the Sabres and Oilers...it looks like there's a race for 28th.

And then after said winning streak to end the year management will applaud it and say we are on the right track lol.

Ya - it is excruciating to watch. I really hope we trade away a bunch of assets by this draft. If they don't do it this year, it's bye bye Nonis (this is done anyways) and bye bye Shanahan in a year

if we totally commit to this draft and add another 1st and a couple 2nds (which i think is do-able if we sell the right assets) then i really dont think the rebuild will be as long or as excruciating as people thing.

we already have rielly and nylander in recent years and seem ready to commit to kadri (who's looking like a good 2C option).

but management really needs to open their eyes and go balls out in this years draft.

hanifin would be marvelous.

Will they though? I thought last year would have done it. Instead they brought in Polak, Winnik, Santorelli, Robidas etc.

Bozak is so bad, I hope they move him at the deadline.

Scott Gomez: 1.28 pts/60
Tyler Bozak: 1.20 pts/60

I dare say Crosby has finally found the right guy in Perron. They look amazing together.

Scrub- Benn & Seguin together make a good arguement. Ditto on the Neal - ribby- foppa line when assembled as such.

But once Sid is at full flight I suspect that line to have 3x 30 goal guys.
