GWT- Week #21
GWT- Week #21
TRADE DEADLINE WEEK
Anaheim Ducks vs Arizona Coyotes - Despite a 5 week Winning Streak ANA now seems to be all but eliminated from the Playoffs due to strong play in Calgary. Arizona Stomped Contenders NYI last week. This is a battle of two non-playoff teams playing well.
[
b]Calgary Flames vs San Jose Sharks -[/b] CGY has locked up the 3rd and last spot in the Pacific with 2 weeks remaining. Now they can set their sites on the 2nd place SJS Sharks. SJS had a tough loss last week, while CGY squeaked out a win on the final Day.
Edmonton Oilers vs Vancouver Canucks - Thanks to a loss this week to PHI, EDM has managed to slip into last place. Vancouver has just moved another solid player off his roster for futures. This Matchup could be tight. Ugly. But Tight.
Los Angeles Kings vs Minnesota Wild - - The Two Western Conference PowerHouse go to Battle. Minny has dropped Toronto and Montreal the past two weeks. If they could be the first team to knock off LA, it would certainly stir talks about who is the Western favorites.
Chicago Blackhawks vs Nashville Predators - CHI could be stuck in the 7th wildcard spot in the West, but beating one of NASH, MIN, or COL may show they have a chance against the 3 headed monster we call the Central.
Colorado Avalanche vs St. Louis Blues - Colorado may have the Easiest Matchup this week of the 3 top Centreal Teams (Nash, Minny, COL) who are only separated by 6 points. This could be their week to pull away, although none of them have easy matchups. STL better watch their backs, as the Jets seem to be making a late season surge.
Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets - This easy Matchup is perfect timing for the Jets. If they manage to Slaughter Dallas, they may slingshot from 20 points back of STL right into the playoffs. If Dallas pulls off another solid weak they are in danger of passing DET for 2nd last.
Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens - After coming within 3 points of 1st in the division Boston has had 2 slow weeks and fallen 17 points back. Montreal jumped from about 16th to 6th over the last 2 months, but in the last 2 weeks has fallen back to 10th, which includes slipping out of the Central playoff spots back into the Wildcard. They are only 1 point back of Buffalo, however.
Buffalo Sabres vs Detroit Red Wings - Perfect Timing for Buffalo. A Big Win locks up a playoff Spot. Detroit Beat a Playoff team last week!!!! :D:D
Florida Panthers vs Toronto Maple Leafs - Leafs are Back. After a tough month they dismantled the Capitals, limb by limb. It was disgusting. Florida managed to win a whopping zero categories last week. This should be another easy win for Toronto.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Ottawa Senators - Tampa is just 8 points back of NJ for the final Eastern Wildcard Position; however, with the new position change he could have some troubles, as he wont be able to dress all 6 of his talented C-Men.
Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Rangers - Carolina lost last week in the dying seconds to CGY; however, they managed to replace injured Richards and Emelin with 2 top performers in powerhouse Periph Orpik, and all around winger Abdelkader. The Rangers had possibly their toughest week of the season in a bad 13-1-2 loss to LA, to make it 2 losses in a row after 7 straight wins. They are now 12 points back of 8th seed NJD, and must also leapfrog Tampa. Two strong weeks are needed.
Columbus Blue Jackets vs New Jersey Devils - NJD are 8th in the east with TB just 8 points back, and NYR 12. The Devils better take advantage of this easier week, as next week they face the Washington Capitals.
New York Islanders vs Washington Capitals - GAME OF THE WEEK One might think A Brutal loss to Toronto (2-13-1) Last week may be indicative of not being able to compete versus the big boys, but in fact, Washington had the 6th best stats on the week. Unfortunately, they came up against the wrong team at the wrong time. Matchups like this could be a reason why facing three teams in a week next year could be a good idea. Washington is in a Dead Tie with Pittsburgh for 1st in the Metro. The Islanders were also spanked last week; umm, no excuse for that matchup. It was against bottom feeder Arizona. The Isles are 14 points back of WASH/PITTS in the Metro.
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Philadelphia Flyers - This is a great matchup for Pittsburgh who better take advantage and create a lead over Washington for the final week, as their opponent in week 22 is the Isles.

Re: GWT- Week #21
I have 9 NHL D-Men right now, but 4 are injured and one will need to go through waivers if i call him up, and then need to send him back down. Grrrr.

We don't require waiver exposure for recall purposes

yup, every week i had Brock Nelson actived i lost 1-15 hahaCAM wroteCOLONYou've been penalized. Didn't you get the announcement? The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONhas anyone fantrax ranking been messed up? i've somehow dropped to 4th and lost my games than i won haha.
it's because he was switched today from a W ---> C
if they put him as a W/C and i can only run him as a C it will fix that issue.
Re: GWT- Week #21
