The leafs wont win a game without him in their lineup now

Phaneuf coming back will help us a bit though. I just hope he sucks/we keep shipping out people.KapG wroteCOLONOne can only hope! The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONWinnik was a machine.kyuss wroteCOLONalso not surprised Winnik was the one getting the most, as I think out of that trio he was clearly the best performer this season

Don't worry, he definitely sucks. Worry, the leafs don't actually know how to rebuild.

Dreger on leafs radio right now:
Don't be surprised if Bozak is moved within the next 12-24 hours

Oh god, please.
Enough of the mediocrity. He's not a first line center.

probably should have waited to trade for him. Mckenzie believes the rangers, which would blow for me as he'd be their 3rd line C behind Stepan and BrassardLee wroteCOLONOh god, please.

Probably means Abbott will be taking Kane's place. He's on the block for 1sts.

Jagr to the Panthers
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
[FLA/NJD] Jaromir Jagr for FLA 2015 2nd round pick + 2016 3rd round pick
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
lol holy shit
if anyone watched the CGY/NJD game last night, u saw this coming. Jagr been complaining for weeks for decreased ice time and said ship me out if u guys aint making the playoffs
this is good news for FLA goaltending

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Steep price for Jagr IMO, but could help some of their youngsters.

"Aaron Ekblad was born on Feb. 7, 1996. On that night, Jaromir Jagr scored the 200th goal of his career for the Penguins in a game against NJ"
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Brad Treliving stated last night that CGY is heading into the right direction of keeping the young core + buy at a moderate price, but wasnt willing to involve 1st round pick for upgrade assets like LA did withi SekeraBruyns wroteCOLONSteep price for Jagr IMO, but could help some of their youngsters.
Hes very smart and showed insight on how he wud like to run the team, almost a BBKL-esq type building strategy which I really liked hearing. A 2nd and 3rd next year isn't that steep for someone like Jagr probably to his standards. LL is no slouch in deal talks and he probably milked CGY til he got that kinda return for jagr which is impressive. This is an all-around good hockey deal
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I just didn't consider Florida a buyer since they aren't holding down a playoff spot currently. Maybe the move gets them a in, but figured a 2nd and a 3rd could have been used on a player who will help them for a longer period of time.
