amazing how things can screw you in a number of ways..

Ramo was spectacular all week, but what made it a loss eventually were Fleury giving up that weak goal at the end of the game (preventing Malkin from getting the GWG) and Gleason getting traded to the Caps, so that he would play on Sunday and get the 3 decisive Hits.

Anyway, better losing this way now than in the playoffs I guess.

Great week Cam. That was one hell of a battle all week. Tons of close cats, could have gone either way.

ya sigh... i was eyeing on it all sunday as well... swinging from like 9-7 8.5-7.5 and then back to 7-9 whole way thru... was exciting thanks for the matchup bro

I know im only a pretender and I am sorry if our matchup costed u ur last playoff spot dream (i dont actually know if thats the case) but ya I am continually improving my team to try to get my pick standing a bit higher so that mik cannot benefit from it (non-malicious intent)

I was just happy to makthe playoff race a bit more interesting the last few weeks. Made a good run after falling like 60 pts behind at one point.

If I don't make the playoffs its going to have more to do with injuriez/scratches and brutal goaltending to start the year then a 8.5 - 7.5 loss.

Gg buddy!!

Paul there's no bigger fan of your climb in the standings than this guy right here. Been silently cheering for you for a couple months now.

realistically that was all i could do. I think climbed maybe 3 or 4 actual spots since week 17... the gap was that vast due to so many smash loss weeks before that lol even though I literally won all the weeks except maybe 2 since week 17.

also depending on whether or not we have one more regular season week this week, I may or may not climb one more

PS I won 8.5-7.5 this week and I realized I was sitting at 121 wins before - but now i only gained 127. Anyone know why?

Didn't win 8 stats you win 6 and tied 5 for the other 2.5 points would be my guess

5-10-1 to Buffalo...held in until the weekend but hard to compete when I'm getting next to no offense. Had 20 points against Shep and went down to 9 this week. It's only going to get worse with Toronto and Montreal left on the schedule. With finishing in 29th place as a formality...Shep is looking at a top 3 pick.

Yea it was a bit close for maybe 1 day but you having 9 gp on me made this a tough one from the beginning. Carey Price is this years Tim Thomas from a few years ago. Almost guaranteed stat wins. Your team always seems to beat me or tie me. I would say it is like the real NHL but we both know what the Habs did to the Bruins this year...ughh... If by chance the Bruins do make the playoffs i pray they face the Habs in round 1 so they can be major under-dogs and go for the upset based on rivalry history alone.

I lost goalie stats with 1.98 and .940 to Edmonton goalies. Lost a couple points there I didn't expect.

Scrivens has been pretty good of late. I'm afraid that Mac-T is going to trade for a goalie today or in the offseason and screw up my Oilers goalie tree all over again. I'm almost at the minimum for goalie GP so I'm alright for this year. It's such a huge luxury to have a stable goaltending situation. I'll never forgive myself to moving the Wings goalies several years back.
