I think he may be trying to contend for UEFA!
Re: So, with all these big names moving... [aka rosterbation
Been about 15 games so far and has been one of the most noticeable forwards in nearly all of those games. It was presumptuous on my part, but his strong play is what allowed me to deal both of gaudreau and nino when I had only intended to deal one.kyuss wroteCOLONis Kenins for real?Fraser wroteCOLONNext year should be looking something like.
Strome-Reinhart-Eberle
Skinner-Bozak-Ennis
Kenins-Bolland-Kassian
...
He hits everything that moves, has incredible work ethics, above average offensive instincts, and great chemistry with horvat. At this point he's bumped someone off this team and he and horvat are shooting up the depth chart. At theis point he's essentially our 2nd line winger, and we have been waiting for them to slow down but so far it hasn't happened. He's made the team and completely earned it.

Still don't believe the bolded part though
Re: So, with all these big names moving... [aka rosterbation
Its been the most surprising aspect of his game, and a small sample size obviously. But the chemistry he and Horvat have they play off eachother in the offensive zone, finding gaps, exposing breakdowns, and have been having the ability to create something out of nothing in the offensive zone. It's been pretty remarkable to watch, and if they keep it up it will be the most offensive depth the Canucks have had in their lineup in what seems like forever.kyuss wroteCOLONnice.Fraser wroteCOLONBeen about 15 games so far and has been one of the most noticeable forwards in nearly all of those games. Ronalds Kenins NLA stats when 20-->23 yrs old:
131 GP, 17 G, 43 A, 60 Pts, GPG: 0.13, PPG: 0.45
Gregory Hofmann NLA stats when 19-->22 yrs old:
137 GP, 34 G, 35 A, 69 Pts, GPG: 0.25, PPG: 0.50
Folks, just think how good of a NHLer Hofmann will be!

Also did nothing in the AHL, could be a good bottom 6er, but I agree with Mik that he won't keep up the offence.
Re: So, with all these big names moving... [aka rosterbation
Oh by no means am I saying he will keep up this same level of offensive production. But a player who looked to have an absolute peak as a 4th line grinding winger, is now starting to look like he could be more, with consistently strong 3rd liner potential at his peak. Playing a 200 foot game with offensive contribution. Its pretty exciting for someone to elevate their stock like he has, whether he hits that potential in the long run or not.

Melker Karlsson is another similar guy; wondering when he will cool off, and what he will be. What a goal last night behind the back.

Yup definitely a similar comparison.LeanMachine wroteCOLONMelker Karlsson is another similar guy; wondering when he will cool off, and what he will be. What a goal last night behind the back.
While their styles of play aren't the same, Kenins reminds us in Canuckland a lot of Alex Burrows. A player we never really expected much out of, who got the callup due to injuries and strong recent play in the AHL. Who impressed early through insane work ethic, found a way to stick around and 10 years later he still hasn't been sent down. When he got the call we didn't expect anything special, but we got blown away by how he elevated his game after getting to the NHL. We are getting that same feeling with Kenins now.
