As for the comment, there are still more vets than newbies and its not close. Also, seems to be the newbies pushing for the change to begin with (iirc) even if some vets are clearly on board.
Which vets are against the idea of being able to play more teams each season? I voted for the 82 game schedule, but my preference wasn't switching to WLT so I can understand not wanting to do away with the current scoring since it has been a big part of the league. It was only just discovered that we were able to schedule multiple matchups per week so that's why it is being discussed and I think it adds to enjoyment giving teams more to follow every week and the added realism is nice too.
If this option was available since day 1 it might have started this way so using the argument that we shouldn't change I can't get behind since it's not changing for the sake of changing it's changing in an attempt to make the league better and more enjoyable. If the NHL expands to 32 teams would you be against expansion since we always had 30 teams and don't need to follow the NHL and shouldn't change what worked in the past?
I'm talking w-l-t, as I don't mind the playing 4 teams at once idea.
Iirc, it was one of the newer ones who proposed the idea of w-l-t, no?
Sorry Dave was the one who brought up the idea of multiple games per week which kicked off the discussion. Nick has been the one who is the advocate of WLT and he is an original member I believe.

I'm put off by someone who just got into the league pushing for significant change (w-l-t) when the point system has never been broken for 6 seasons.
Just to make it clear, I'm all for the 82 game schedule....just despise the idea of w-l-t
If it makes the league a better place, and the majority of members seem to like the idea, I don't know why a discussion can't be had.
Maybe you should take their example and push for more positive change in the league. Spearhead that initiative to get salary retention into the league.

I'm essentially mocking the people who want to mimick the NHL to a T.
