Seconded. I've been on the receiving end of the wildcard spot last year where I was ranked higher than guys seated 3rd in the other division. So much simpler and just makes sense to go back to the old way.
How many times have we faced eachother in the playoffs? Seems like it has happened every year since we started...

Tell me about it, although I think you have beaten me each playoff we've matched up. Going to be hard pressed to beat you with a number of my guys questionable....lots of decisions to make before roster lock.

Yea, i got some big decisions to make also. I would like to keep pace with your Goaltending stats. Should be a battle.

hornqvist and mitchell are injured so nah. both my goalies are too actually.

Would it be possible to use this week as a test of the multi match up system that has been proposed? Non playoff teams, of course.

I'll be honest, I have terrible feelings going into this one.

Wrong opponent, wrong schedule, horrible timely injuries and lineup uncertainties, cap issues.. couldn't dress the lineup that would have made me feel comfortable Vs Hongs' team.

I'd probably have a healthy team next week on top of a much better looking schedule, but will be very hard to get there.

Hong starts out with Ovy & Holtby Vs Buffalo, and Toffoli Vs Arizona.......

Yeah same here, both EJ and Leddy should be back next week and Orlov is just now going on his conditioning stint. Plus Stoll being questionable doesn't help although it doesn't seem serious. Another week and I feel I could put up a good fight with Kyle...but as it stands I have serious doubts about my team I'm icing this week.

Well, i feel the same about mine. Having no cap space i rerally want to get spooner in the lineup. Soderberg hasnt scored a goal in 22 games. Putting Helm in even though he hasnt played a game since his injury is risky.

2 ways.

You can go to your roster page on fantrax, and on the top they have: year to date, period, day.

If you click period it shows you your stats for this period.

OR

go to standings, go over to the season stats tab, and then switch it from "year to date" to "period".

MONTREAL! who is crushing Boston in all Categories but Scoring.

COLORADO! in a close Day with Chicago.

WINNIPEG! Who is looking for the upset against LA.

NYI! who squeaked out a first day win over the Pens.

CALGARY! who are beginning to run up shtoi/hits/shots against the sharks.

TORONTO! who are shutting down the Match before the devils had a chance to leave the starting gate.

WASHINGTON! whose Periphs were the difference maker on day 1.
