I like Steve out of the Pacific half of the West to face Anton in the Western finals. I think Mike survives that tough Atlantic draw and faces fellow division winner Thom in the Eastern finals. That Central half of the Western playoffs will be the best battle of them all...they had that great race to the end for the division title.

MONTREAL! who is crushing Boston in all Categories but Scoring.

COLORADO! in a close Day with Chicago.

WINNIPEG! Who is looking for the upset against LA.

NYI! who squeaked out a first day win over the Pens.

CALGARY! who are beginning to run up shtoi/hits/shots against the sharks.

TORONTO! who are shutting down the Match before the devils had a chance to leave the starting gate.

WASHINGTON! whose Periphs were the difference maker on day 1.

Nashville and Minnesota who are neck and neck in a hard fought day 1 tie.

Day 1 and i had 2 players going against 7 and a goalie game. Stats that concern me are BS and Pims. Already not catching chuck in those.

luke is running the risk of going over goalie starts for the week as he's started 2 starters. Risky move that could pay off or backfire. I believe once you have 5 goalie starts in any given week you void all goalie stats?

Was gonna say I had a 6 gp advantage last night so I don't put a lot of stock in it. Prust 12 PIMs were nice along with Stone's 8 BS; but a single bad game like last night's from Price can tank me against Rask...

True...there are some things you need to track for yourself.

For us non-playoff folks, the only stat that counts is GP and that is thankfully still being tracked by them.
