Half the league makes the playoffs. Half of them care about the play offs. Half of them actually continue to post.

I believe the last warning I got on Hf had to do with comparing the moderation of the site to being occupied by Nazi Germany. I stand by that statement

Well at the moment I'm finishing up my degree. Which has turned into a 6 year undergrad, and I've taken some breaks to work in between. Currently I'm living that student debt life, not working on exchange, treating it mostly like one big holiday but reality will come crashing back down when I move back to Canada and start the job hunt. Most recently I was working for a industrial vegetation management company based out of Lloydminster Alberta. Pretty shit grunt work but it paid well. Don't think Ill be looking to continue down that line of work, but ultimately I'm gonna go to where the money is for the time being. I would really like to move to Vancouver this September, so my job hunt will start for there soon while I'm overseas here.

They could last year and it didn't result in a ton of activity.

Nah Toys R Us. Safe to say I fucking hate kids now. They're really flexible with scheduling though and close by so it's good for some hours while I'm in school.

Nah the area is kinda crappy and there's lots of old people. The hot moms are rare but they do seem to appear in the summer.

i'm a manager and hockey director at a rink here in southern california. im also on the board for our travel hockey club that operates out of the rink. i coach a couple teams every season too.

best job i've ever had. money is decent and i enjoy it a lot, but the ceiling in terms of growth/money is low. will probably ride it out another couple years then give into the monotonous world of 9-5 office living. im also around hockey all day every fucking day - which sounds amazing at first, but i burn out on it big time. i can't remember the last time i sat down and watched an NHL game for this reason.

for example: this weekend my U10's are in the CA state championship tournament. i'll be coaching 2 games friday, 2 games saturday, and 1 sunday morning. the following weekend my rink is hosting an easter tournament where i'll be the tournament director - games all day thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday. and this is all on my "days off" from my regular rink hours. it's exhausting, but i always reflect and think it could be worse.

EDIT: hot moms are a bonus tho.
