It was tied. He's pretty much going to win all scoring cats, so I needed to win pretty much every goalie cat to even have a chance. I didn't even expect to win tbh, but him sitting Bob opened the door at least.

By the weak interest I got, it looks like most GMs didn't consider the CLB to be a good option at all for the rest of the year.
So it looks like this theory of yours is far from some sort of established truth.
