Nightmare of a first night.

Huge win by Lack in StLouis + a couple of empty net pts + GWG by Gaudreau... i'm starting down in a hole.

Perhaps the worst part of it are BS, probably already lost at 14-1 after I'd have won them last week.

Last but not least, by the early indications I got completely wrong the lineup: Darling with the W and 31saves against the Kings, Jaskin nothing and my best skater of the night Eaves benched.
Looks like my team needs a new coach lol.

So.. Datsyuk out again, JFC.

I just wish they would let me know on Monday rather than on Tuesday, since I'd have the Cs to replace him. This past night Ribeiro had 16FW on the bench, ugh.

Bob didn't take full advantage of the game at home Vs the Devils and I expect the Jackets to drop the other games Vs Isles and Pens, so GAA e SV% are probably the only G stats I have a real chance at anyway.

Tonight it's the most favourable on paper with Malkin+J.Larsson+Vatanen Vs M.Foligno alone.... I'll most likely need to overturn SOG and PTS at least to have a chance to win this round, and this night might be indicative... time for some real help from Geno.

Teams going at it in the WCF:

I noticed. Don't know if either will be back before the end.. but I think the difference is the player I could have put in to replace Dats (Eaves or Ribeiro).

Who would have been your replacement for Hedman?

I thought you didn't dress him because he was a healthy scratch over the last few games.

And you're winning BS anyways

I saw he didn't play in the last 2 and in 3 of the last 5, with HS being reported, so I thought that was the case for all 3 games. Some injury involved maybe?

now I get it, maybe you knew Malkin would be out again, which makes my post above depressing indeed.

btw, Vatanen has been a shadow of himself since coming back from his ankle injury.

Oh well, at least Larsson did something and I did gain some ground.

Surprised I'm still in this matchup with the GP disadvantage and overall team disadvantage haha... Mike's team underachieving plus mine staying afloat might keep it interesting into the weekend!

well, M.Foligno 2 goals and even Merrill gets on the board... 27pts before the weekend for LA and Malkin not expected to play tonight either.

Looks like the semis won't provide entertaining endings like previous rounds.

barring an explosion from you (which with your team is certainly possible), this is unfortunate!

To be fair, Hong and I are the only ones close to Steve this week in terms of offense.
