should be interesting, go both teams
Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
Good luck fellas!!
Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
Good luck Mik. As you said, and I agree with, I probably have the goaltending advantage. I'd been hoping the Kings would be right on the cusp and forced to use Quick as much as possible down the stretch. You'll have a hefty lead in GP it seems, my only question right now is whether or not I risk keeping Steen in the lineup.

Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
Although I thought Steve would repeat...Mik is coming on at the right time. I'm feeling a 9-7 win for the Preds.
I'll be a troll for a minute...funny that two members of the CC lock horns in the impromptu one week final. I'd be curious who would've won if last week was included.

Go Mik(e)
Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
Mik assuming this is your roster you'll have a 56-50 GP edge. The only change I might make is Steen (is he ready) for a centre (Jooris or Jarnkrok), which wouldn't change my GP numbers.
Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
still not sure about the roster, I hope to get free soon enough to look some more into it
Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
Should be a great final. Two very well managed teams by guys who pay attention to the details.
My guess is that Mike sneaks out a win on the back of Mr.Quick

I love that so many teams still have meaningful games up until the end of the season so you're not going to get many teams and players mailing it in.
Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
with the G I think I'll have to leave Darling out:
- if he doesn't play any of CHI 3 games, he doesn't help
- if he plays one, I might end up over the limit as CLB plays 4
- if Bob only plays 3, I stay under the limit but I might miss CLB game Vs Buffalo, as they could very well give it to Mc as the first game of a b2b

No Steen Jooris it is
Goddamn Steen and Letang, never fuckin ready when I need them. I've been lucky though, had like no injuries all year.

Re: Playoffs - Final - TOR/NSH
I'll leave Vatanen in given the opponents (DAL & ARZ) even if the Ducks play only 2 games and he has been a shadow of himself since coming back from the ankle injury. Hopefully Anaheim competing for the Presidents means they will dress him in the last game rather than resting him for the playoffs as a result of their damn Ds rotation.
Then I have to dress 2 out of Jaskin, Eaves, Bernier, Ekholm and Wiercioch.

situations like Steen's are crappy and good for a headache. If I get it right, the only thing known right now is he will miss the next game.Mike wroteCOLONNo Steen Jooris it is

The only worse thing is when players are all of a sudden known to be injured on Tuesday. See Dats and Geno in all previous rounds of this PO. Malkin has 2pts in the entire run.
And this week might be no different. Malkin was still struggling with his injury on Sunday and Dats had an issue with an ankle and now the Red Wings have recalled Ferraro.
If I had better option this week I'd leave Dats out frankly, but Kuz only has 2 games Vs BOS and NYR... Haula probably won't play all Minnie games and it looks like I'd lose SHTOI anyway.
Replacing a C with a W or a D is not an option this week because I'll need all the FW I can get to win that stat... so who knows, maybe Steen still out and adding Jooris' FW will turn out to be the difference maker.
Anyway, it seems to me I only have to pray this week Dats and Malkin will play at least a couple of games each. Not confident in that, but I just don't see a Dats-less lineup that on paper works well this week.
