Meh. Biggs is probably worth a 4th or 5th.
He may eventually develop into a 4th liner

Im just playing around with a you guys btw.
Fwiw, I don't mind taking a shot at Biggs with a 4th. Odds of getting an every day nhler in the 4th round are not that good anyways so why not at least grab a guy who's had some time to develop (albeit not so well so far).

Yup, this was just a contract clearing move for me. I've gone from 90 players to 62 lol.

Re: PHI / NYR
nothing wrong with carrying 90 players, the odds of hitting on a few of them are always good when you have a ton of guys
Re: PHI / NYR
Yeah the problem is most of them weren't very good. I like where my team is at so I can clear out the garbage and pick up some fresh blood along the way and let them develop at their own pace instead of hoping to rush them in.

Re: PHI / NYR
always a good plan when you finally have players developing. Keep the good, drop the bad
Re: PHI / NYR
Yeah, I was on the fence about Erik Gustafsson ( not the Flyers guy). 23, signed for a few more years in the SHL. Good numbers.
Glad I held onto him, he just signed with Chicago.

Re: PHI / NYR
he's a good player
i'm on the fence about a lot of my guys, but i'm only at 48 contracts, so no need to take the risk in dropping them yet

Re: PHI / NYR
Yeah I haven't dropped anyone with a contract yet. Just guys like Peter Mueller and Kaspars Daugavins.. guys that probably won't see the NHL again.
