Bozak suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Anywhere but Toronto's #1 centre and he's useless. Watch those FOW drop.

Nice one Billy.

We fundamentally disagree on something then: I do not believe players change much when they change teams. I think Bozak's FOW/point will drop slightly sure but not below like 700FOW/40points. He's been doing this for years. Any team that trades for him will give him a big role (e.g. his SHTOI will go up)

man, i think this is a cake walk for billy, if bozak is traded (or kessel is traded) he'll be a 3rd line C. Matt Cooke is probably done - maybe 1 more year.

great trade for billy here iMO

I think he'll be still be used in a 2C capacity.. will probably put up 40+ pts, the FOW will be there b/c the guy can draw well. SHTOI ... he's pretty freaking bad defensively no? I don't think he'd be a top 2 unit PK'er ... but still for 4.2M the value is there for him!

He's a Bonino. Solid player.

He's actually a good PKer. Just in Toronto int he #1 C role he doesn't see as much time there. He's not great defensively even-strength. If he goes to a team where he is slotted at 2/3, he'll see more PK minutes esp with his faceoff prowess

Bozak has some risk attached no doubt, but could easily but up a BBKL superior season to Z next year. I like it for Shiv.

Really like the deal for Shiv myself, sure Cooke might not have a lot of time left but neither does Zetterberg, and I think there's a greater chance of Cooke and Bozak maintaining their current level of play (or even seeing a slight dip) then there is of Zetterberg staying as a top line producer.

Bonino is super overrated. 3rd line C.

Better in BBKL than he is in real life. But yea he is definitely Vancouver's 3C now, Horvat has eclipsed him.

if anything because of their contract, Zetterberg seems to have much more time left than Cooke.

This thread confirms me how hard of a sell Zetterberg is nowadays (I experienced it first hand)

Fine by me... score a little and continue to have good periphs! I'll take his production from last year... better than bozaks!

Which I would think is a pretty fair estimation of production for the next while. Willie D roles his lines, no matter how much better Horvat gets I wouldn't expect that much of a declined role for Bones.
