Re: ANA/DAL
Confirm.
Del Zotto at just 24 years old was on pace to be a top 20 bbkl d-man this season on fantrax (altho he only played 64 games), and to score a pace above 37 points for the 4th time in his career, while putting up nice periphs. I am happy with this deal, for now. Schmaltz is the first prospect i have moved out since being a gm. he should be a good player, but is likely a few years away from his rookie season.

Re: ANA/DAL
All will depend on where MDZ plays next year and beyond. He seemed like a fit in Philly. Will got 1st round value for him.
Re: ANA/DAL
no comment.. good thing I don't feel sad for bbkl anymore.. while all my offers are very fair deals

Re: ANA/DAL
I think MDZ sucks. He's a product of being in a good situation. As the flyers develop those dmen he'll lose playing time. This is a very fair return imo
Re: ANA/DAL
I don't like anyone who identifies by only initials.
Re: ANA/DAL
While I have told ya what I thought about MDZ already in depth Matthew. You murdered this deal well done. The fact is he just had an incredible season even if theres some doubts about sustained success.
Re: ANA/DAL
I understand the sustainability question, but I figure given that he has paced 4 37 point seasons already by 24 yrs old, he will at least put up a few more, and could even improve, given most Dmen dont even enter the league until 23-24 yrs old. He is young enough that I could wait until he slaughters a season and then move him, even if he has a couple down seasons here and there. To me, his possible upside is just as great as his possible downside. And for the price of a player that wont make any impact in the league for 2 or 3 years, that works for me. I also think I could move him for more than i paid before next season begins.

Re: ANA/DAL
What it comes down too for me is Del Zotto has a higher potential to be an elite BBKL producer than the main piece going the other way, combined with him already being proven that he can play in this league.
