Given the discussion in the goalie debate everyone in the league understands that to put your team in a position to meet GP and by extension cap rules you must be willing to pay up whatever the price is so don't expect any fallout from this

I do. It is my own fault if I go under the cap and teams try to rape me. Luckily, there're 29 other teams, so given the market, one team should be willing to make a deal where they just have the smallest advantage in the trade, given they are in competition with so many others to get an advantage.

yup, there will always be a team needing cap and a team to cut cap

which means 2 teams should always be able to find middle ground.
