You know how many people were trying to acquire a late 7th? At least 4 of us...why wouldn't you trade it?

the deadline we used in previous years to make skipping picks (in case they were not expired already) was by midnight of the day of the last made selection or by the start of the NHL draft (which in this case is obv not relevant).

There were certainly very quick sections of the draft, but a few rounds went really long too, nice to see it go so smoothly though, thanks to Scott and the others who contribute in the process.

You did your part to slow it down.

I was probably slower overall than in previous yrs.

Which probably still didn't mean taking more time than the average BBKL GM (despite their improvement) => didn't slow it down

I wouldn't suggest moving the start date up but part of me wishes this weekend was the NHL draft. I don't think the results of our draft would be changed if we ended next week instead. Bottom line...no one knows where their guys will go which makes this fun.
