Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Doubt any of us would turned down that type of money
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
The thing is.. why overpay in a trade to then overpay the player like he was an UFA?
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Had to be qualified at 6M due to the Flames offer sheet he signed last time he was RFA.
Also made the contract buy out proof and won't lose as much to escrow since his salary is 1M per year with a big bonus each year.

oh, I perfectly understand the deal from ROR point of view.Bruyns wroteCOLONHad to be qualified at 6M due to the Flames offer sheet he signed last time he was RFA.

But if I am the owner of the GM who made that deal to acquire him and pay him this money, he is canned as soon as he wakes up the following morning

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Dumb question regarding the KHL...are we see more guys coming over here/coming back here because of the perceived instability with that league?
