Not even close and if this is how you cut cap how in the hell is he cutting 12M in cap if he SS is up-to-date?The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONThis ia how you cut cap. Cam, myself and a few others didn't manage to get any more than this.
Re: CAR/MIN - Final Phase

Re: CAR/MIN - Final Phase
I know but if he is saying that's what Hong had to do to cut cap then how are you going to cut 12M in cap.........that's what I was trying to say
Re: CAR/MIN - Final Phase
That ss is off of last yr ceiling. I calculated I need 9.3m cut with the new one. It's easy. U can see William that it's easy to take deals as long as u put ur mind to it. I'm not afraid to go up and down the cap line. I believe in our diverse market system and I won't need to bend over to save money. U will see.
Re: CAR/MIN - Final Phase
Bc other gms didn't lose value trying to cut? We will see for sure.kimmer wroteCOLONThat ss is off of last yr ceiling. I calculated I need 9.3m cut with the new one. It's easy. Actually that's not what I am implying at all brother.CasperX22 wroteCOLONBc other gms didn't lose value trying to cut? We will see for sure.kimmer wroteCOLONThat ss is off of last yr ceiling. Has nothing to do with me wanting to show the others up in saying I won't bend over like cam/thom etc
I have my ways of building and sometimes it takes some time but I still truly believe as season goes on, people will open their eyes and see 1sts are just picks, and cap hit is just numbers. Trades have to be made eventually to make changes, and while I don't believe everyone should trade like me, but shiv has inspired me greatly thru the years that cycling players is the most fun way for me to enjoy asset managing, and makes my stay in bbkl worthwhile. Collecting 1sts is too boring and hard to stay focused. It's interesting because still to this day, l will NEVER value 1sts over a competent stat producing 30 yr old NHLers and it's the proper way for one to value if they wanna build a strong team. Like I said diversity is key, and those world of difference in value mindset between GMs is what drives the ecosystem of the league when it comes to feeding each other needed assets. I am for one, GLAD that there are influx of GMs that over value prospects and 1sts because that works for me eventually to my own success.
In the end I am saying that I have ample time to wait for those who eventually need cap/quality players and I don't do rape offers as you can see (well my final phase was what I worked toward and it was a very favourable deal for me, but deals leading up to it wasn't anything but fair). I don't believe losing value and getting raped is the same thing so I believe in this, as a collective group of bbkl, that the needs to get this done (me cutting cap before October that is) will be done fairly.

Re: CAR/MIN - Final Phase
