Like it for Paul, Domi for Burmi seems like a good gamble and I don't expect Guenin to play a lot unless there are injuries on the Avs blueline.

Unconfirmed yet bro
He could man C in line 3. If anything he will be wing if he gets into top 6

He pks and hits but don't get your hopes up with regards to him being a centre. Very good chance he ends up on the wing

I like this trade for both parties btw

Lowry will be 3C

He has a chance at 2nd line W, but from reading Jets stuff it seems extremely likely he is 3rd line W. Doesn't make him a bad player, but unfortunate if he thought he was trading for a C.

Hockey isnt like baseball tho, like we know Hanley Ramirez is never gonna play SS in boston
But wingers even take FO all the time. Performance (or lack there of) always result in positional switching on the fly for hockey.

It's not a lock that he will be on the wing but it is looking that way for the time being. Things change all the time though

Playing C in the KHL last few years... I can see him sliding in 3C

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showt ... ?t=1921809 18 pages on the Jets forum with no one expecting him to play C. Every poster who predicts line combinations has him on the W and based on his last year in the NHL he will be starting as a BBKL W.

He might take some FOs from the wing like Paul mentioned, but they aren't trading Lowry to make room for him at C or playing him there since he played C in the KHL. No Jets fan is expecting or predicting that will happen.

http://jetsnation.ca/2015/7/1/report-je ... r-contract
"Burmistrov, 23, will fill in nicely for the Jets top-nine unit and will diminish some of the pain in losing Michael Frolik. While some are assuming Burmistrov will play as a centre, the young forward has a lot of NHL experience on the wing, and Paul Maurice has discussed his preference on having multiple centres on the team playing wing for flexibility."

Both Burmi and Perreault fit that description of Cs who will be playing on the wing.

The argument is that whether or not he'll be taking plenty faceoffs bro. Everyone has known he's not been a permanent centerman since the beginning. He's always had under 300 FOW in NHL so not sure what the big fuss is lol. Hong mentioned to me that when trading me Domi, he needed someone who does FOW. Burmi will give him that. All this hard work trying to prove Burmi wont be a C only scares Hong more, but it was never the basis of fear (fear that he won't be a C), but he will inevitably give Hong plenty FOW playing off wing.

Early positional review will likely switch him to W but Hong will have a winger now that gives him 250+ FOW through the season on top of 5C's he has anyway. Why u tryin so hard to argue BRYUNS??! lolz

Not arguing just pointing out that thinking he will be 3C doesn't make any sense. Posts were made making it seem like a realistic option when they probably haven't looked into the Jets situation so I was explaining why he isn't a C.

Early position review won't switch him to W he is already a W in BBKL, he is listed as C/W which will be corrected to W. Deal is already done so it doesn't matter how many FOW Hong gets from it.

yea like i said, he doesnt care whether the guy is C or W. It's just as long as he gets plenty FOW from the said player. Moving on
