I think the west is underrated now. LAK/NSH/VAN/CHI/MIN/CGY are all good teams. Then Winnipeg and stl and sjs are decent. There won't be a big difference between the west playoff teams and east playoff teams this yr. That "west is terrible" thing should begin to dissipate.

Edit: also, that anaheim team is a monster.

West has improved more than the East in the last 2 seasons. When I joined the East was by far the strongest and there isn't much of a gap now.
