Personally I think Eberle and RNH stay together. But the presence of a Hall-McDavid line behind them stretches team defences to the point where these two of them can continue to flourish further offensively. Plus a loaded #1 PP unit also leads to a scoring boost.

Matthew wroteCOLONI think eberle scores more. And people point to Saad playing with ryjo, but no proof that happens. What we do know is Saad put up 40 and 50 points playing with toews or kane at different points. Eberle will play with one of Rnh or mcdavid. Also, Saad doesn't do a ton more than eberle.
Lol look pal, those who say uneducated shit like 'no proof Saad plays with ryjo' are just salty.
And 2ndly, Saads 40-52 pt campaign happened in 20-22 yrs old age. One would think there is this thing called ceiling/upside lol. What's with the misconception and misbalance of assumptions that playing with toews at age 21 and playing with ryjo at age 22-27 would result in same pt total? Lolz

Yeah. No reason eberle can't score 75. He has done it before and now the young centermen are coming along to help him. He is typically a 65 point winger. With 2 elite centers he could easily put up 80 points in the next couple yrs.

What were eberles totals at 20-22? And I don't think it's uneducated to say there is no proof Saad plays with ryjo. Where is your proof? The guy who just scored 70+ on his wing won't move off that line. So there is 1 wing spot for a ton of Columbus talent. No reason Saad can't play on line 2. Lots of teams spread out talent. Patrick kane doesn't play with toews.

Not to the point where they all avg a ppg. You let some guys tell it, McDavid is scoring 100+, Hall is going ppg, RNH is going ppg, Eberle is going ppg, Yak is going ppg etc. In that case we may as well give Edmonton the cup.

Paul, you don't need to insult me. I just think talking in absolutes when we don't know what clb management and coaching is thinking is "uneducated" as you put it. Fans are always outraged cuz management does things people don't expect. You show me proof or a reasonable argument why Saad is auto-next-to-ryjo and I will take your word. But so far, you've just said I'm uneducated and don't watch hockey because I don't think your inkling something is going to happen is sufficient evidence.

You don't even want that offer from Fraser, so who cares?

Just because there are crazed fanatics share a portion of my viewpoint doesn't make my viewpoint illegitimate.

The way I see it Eberle and RNH exploded after Eakins left. Both going over a PPG for the quarter of season after he was gone. Big reason why I targeted RNH at the start of our offseason. And having stronger support players will only help top producers, at this point to me thats all McDavid is a strong secondary player who is 18 years old. Lets see where he goes from there. Yakupov I see in a reduced, but effective scoring role as well.

No reason a team can't have a group of players over 70 points in a few years. 4 70 point players wouldn't be groundbreaking.

The Pens should have Crosby, Malkin, Kessel and maybe Horny as 70 point + players.

Tampa came close last season. Pittsburg could easily do it this season. No reason edm couldn't do it given they will have 4 1st overall picks and eberle at some point.
