I hope Verhaeghe is and at least in NY he should play in the AHL whereas he was likely headed to the ECHL with the Leafs. Decent point totals in the OHL, but hasn't impressed at rookie camp and didn't look like he was in line for a chance with the Leafs with so many prospects ahead of him on the depth chart.

Beck was going to be waived by NSH so they traded him for an AHL goon to TOR and then it was looking like he was getting waived in TOR with the PTOs they have in camp. Still should be an NHL 4th liner which might be the best piece NY gets, but not much upside.

Anton will prob go due his rounds in adhl or pbhl and prove he's still got it and hasn't become too out of date for the modern bbkl, and if he does well, will likely get a call from one of the bbkl franchises looking for that experienced hand in a year or two.
