BUF/BOS
Re: BUF/BOS
confirm. I will miss him but Chris Stewart and Nate Thompson will give me my ANH fill. Now i got Pavelski and Couture. Couple slumps...
Re: BUF/BOS
me either tbh. Getz has him on pims and prob plus minus this year as SJ will prob be similar to boston...as in on the decline and ANH should be near top.Shoalzie wroteCOLONI never noticed how similar their stat lines are.
Re: BUF/BOS
I really am jealous of Matts team. This is your year man. good luck. You made some big trades for injured players that is going to pay off. Would love to see a comparison of the team you inherited to what you now have to show what can be done.
Re: BUF/BOS
Well you'll appreciate top line Iggy this year for third line Stewart....lolBruyns wroteCOLONCould have been greedy and asked for the 1st so you're welcome haha
Re: BUF/BOS
Like it for Boston
Re: BUF/BOS
Lol, you contradict yourself in that short post. What is the goal of "killing it" to get a player that you feel is less of a "bbkler" ? Its fantasy hockey and the game is driven by stat categories. I am not saying the players involved in this trade are a prime example as i feel they are pretty damn close in BBKL but not so in real NHL. So do you mean he kills it if this was real NHL?Matthew wroteCOLONmatty kills this imo, even if pavel is a strong bbkler.

Re: BUF/BOS
Man..knew this kind of trade was available. Kinda sucks when your only 2 players above $5.000M in cap hit are Bishop and Subban. Can't make cap room without multiple moves.
Good job Matt. Also, Pavelski is a champ so this is a great deal for CAM too.

Re: BUF/BOS
Like this for matt. Would have done Callahan for nelson and kept Getz.
Re: BUF/BOS
I dont get the Nelson love obsession. Why would i trade top line all around proven player in Callahan for 3rd line Nelson when i could trade superstar Getzlaf for Pavelski who makes 2.25 mil less yet is near identical in stats to Getz for last three years? I saved money and did not weaken my team. Hard to argue with that logic. Oh and i still have a 1st round pick....

Re: BUF/BOS
I don't agree with Steve on the Nelson comment but I agree with the idea on Getz. This was why I'm kicking myself because I look at this situation as an opportunity to improve your team by using cap as an asset. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONLike this for matt. When you analyze the assets, moving a seabrook or callahan is far better than moving a getz. Sure Pavelski is close to getzlaf anyways but seabrook or callahan will continue to decline in value with a massive cap hit in the coming years, not to mention start producing fewer stats. I would have taken a loss on them than doing a close to lateral with Getz.
Re: BUF/BOS
I agree Shiv. As you have seen in the past little while with the Callahan/Seabrook blocks, no way i was getting even the low end of the values they are worth. I was up against a wall. I made a move that for the most part did not hurt my team strength and if anything helped me maintain it with keeping Cally. Mark my words, people are gonna kick themselves later in the season...Robin Hood wroteCOLONI don't agree with Steve on the Nelson comment but I agree with the idea on Getz.
