Trimming adventures

Post by kyuss »

Once again making guys available in order to trim the roster for roster submission.

Some options:

a)
Gerbe - 28pts, 235sog and 1.03shtoi/game last season, playing on a line with J.Staal and entering his contract year at 1.75M
not necessarily for picks only, a waiver exempt guy coming back could work also, or a NHLer who makes at least 600k less than he does

b)
Kevin Stenlund - Huge C just drafted by CLB in the 2nd round.
Max Gortz - strong Swedish winger signed for NSH and starting his N.A. career this season

price for the pair is 2nd 2016 + 4th

c)
Max Gortz - strong Swedish winger signed for NSH and starting his N.A. career this season
Frederik Tiffels - drafted by the Pens this past season coming off a strong NCAA campaign (and 2 strong WJC in a row for Germany)

price for the pair is 3rd 2016

I think he has only been playing in the NHL when filling in for injured players?

made final cut this year, PK's now too, rotates b/w C and W. Pretty sure he's fulltime this year.

I have the MIN lines as this:
Parise- Granlund - Pominville
Zucker - Koivu - NNeid
Vanek - Coyle - Schroeder
Carter - Hauuuala - Graovac
Fontaine - injured

I don't want to jinx it for you, but I still don't see him as a regular NHL (Fontaine is out injured..)

maybe I'll be proven wrong? still, Gerbe is actually a pretty good BBKL piece, so I don't think the deal would make sense even if Schroeder indeed play in the NHL this season

I'll give you a 2016 4th for stenlund + gortz

I'm sure someone can do better. But someone also needs to get the ball rolling.
