Thanks Tyler...either you accepted immediately because I'm overpaying or I was on the money with the offer. I'm hoping for option B. I like both guys I'm giving up but if I can add a mid-20s D without giving up a roster player...can't pass on that.
Re: Trade: DET-NJ
He did it because Sbisa is an utterly terrible NHL player. He is not of top 6 quality.
That being said, he is a solid contributer in BBKL.

Pretty good deal here.
Re: Trade: DET-NJ
No fuss from me because you offered me a Rangers prospect that i like. Also was inclined to shed Sbisa's salary to give me flexibility down the road. You get more now, i get more later - at least that's how i assessed it, fair. You also noted you get a NHL'er without having to return a current roster player.Shoalzie wroteCOLONThanks Tyler...either you accepted immediately because I'm overpaying or I was on the money with the offer. Believe me, I am a fan too...thought about keeping him behind glass and not moving at all. Really nice start with the Texas Stars...one of their best prospects. Being able to get a return of investment on Graves was great considering he was a 7th round pick for me. He's climbed up the ranks with the Rangers.
I'm done moving prospects for NHLers for now...satisfied with the deals this weekend and I'm happy with the fact I've added some extra picks. I'm still a lottery team but I'm trying build a more respectable NHL roster for when my prospects mature. I had a lot of depth at center and defense in terms of prospects...I like being to use guys I've actually drafted as trade pieces.
