What are you folks drivin these days? What are you running for tires? I just bought 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport with BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires as upgrade. So excited to be out of Dodge Journey suck hole. I know everyone lives in different areas but do most people run winter tires or all season? I know its the law in Quebec and it should be in the Maritimes as well to run winter tires, not all season. Studded or not?

Just wanted to put in a plug for this company in Quebec that is one of 4 plants in NA to produce remolded tires. Not retreads, remolds. They are made the exact same as a new tire except they use recycled cores. The good thing about the cores as well is that they are all top of the line cores such as Blizzaks. It takes up to 7 litres of oil to produce a single tire. Using remolds saves that much on the environment. Oh...and over 80% of the worlds airplanes uses remolded tires. I bought these for Journey last year and was highly impressed with grip and wear. Best part was they were 430 bucks taxes in with free delivery on 17 inch set.

Did a weekend drive to a family wedding in Trail, BC a few weeks back. Likely didn't need the snow tires but wasn't going to risk it on the mountain passes.

We don't have snow here like you all do up in Canada but it handles surprisingly well in what we get here.

Plasti dipped some interior pieces last weekend and tinted it today finally to freshen it up. HID's are starting to crap out so replacing them or totally replacing the headlights are next. Come the spring I'll be looking for rims and summer tires so if you have a good place, I'll check them out. Though I'd need shipping to NY.

Welcome to the TOYO club Kyle! I have a 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport and purchased a set of Kelly Safari A/T rubber for it. I personally just leave them on year around but the winter is much milder here on the west coast compared to the east coast Canada. I would suggest against Studded tires because if the roads get "cleared" of snow then you would be running them on cement - Having studded tires requires a owner to swap tires frequently during the winter months depending on the road conditions. If you purchase a good set of winter tires you can leave them on through the winter months without a worry.

That looks so mackin with those tires. are they 265/65/17? I do not have side rails but i know i am gonna need them. Some nice rides fellas!

265/70/R17. It's the biggest tire you can fit without rubbing issues. Do you plan on leveling the front with the rear? If so I have done a pile of research on it and people suggest 110% of the time to get a pair of Billstein 5100 series adjustable shocks for the front. They run about $160 CDN each online and offer a better ride and mechanical performance over a standard leveling kit. You set them at the lowest adjustment and it's a perfect height to match the rear.

Then later if you decide to lift the trucj you adjust the set of shocks to the maximum height and buy a set of "add a leaf" for the rear. This setup can support around 1.5-3" of lift comfortably.
