Trade Deadline
Re: Trade Deadline
we still trade more than the NHL and I seem to remember they do have a trade deadline
Re: Trade Deadline
Trade deadline is fun. It puts last minute pressure on teams to make deals. I, for one, enjoyed last year's trade deadline.

Re: Trade Deadline
agreed. I just like the uncertainty of a trade deadline. TBH, this years playoffs are close to being set for the top 8 on each side (for sure on the West, the East will have a battle for the last spot), so having one on the last day or next week doesn't matter too much IMO, but if we do move to the W-L-T next year (which I now agree is the way to go), having a trade deadline with 4-6 weeks to go (i.e. 16-24 matchups), provides a huge amount of intrigue and potential sway if you do decide to go after it (i.e. many more teams would be pushing for it).

As stated previously, make sure to watch out for CAR Deadline block as it will be one of the hottest sellers in the market
