Guys being hard on Paul. Virtanen was a 2014 6th overall pick who was only a month away from being a 2015 pick. And he is more the type of player that would become more effective once he fills out more in a few years. He could still be easily the best NHL player long term in this deal.

Larsson's production in the shl may look impressive, but keep in mind he is playing on the by far most offensive team (frolunda) in the shl, and is 4th among dmen in points on the team. While Jake is playing in the NHL.

The pick might be a bit much of an add but this isn't nearly as bad as most are making it out to be, Virtanen is the best prospect and is already a young NHLer and if he pans out will likely be the best BBKLer here.
