There are some pretty elite dmen who are only 30 point players; on the contrary there are pretty crap dmen who can still score close to 30 points.

This is a fine example of that. Vlasic is a world class dman, Gelinas is barely an NHL dmen. His value is a late 2nd or early 3rd.
