he will be a good player in the smaller Ottawa market. he will never live up to his contract and it will be a constant source of ridicule as long as he makes more than EK.

I'd say lucic for phaneuf + 2nd is more fair. They are pretty much equally effective. Lucic plays a position where it is more difficult to be effective. Lucic is younger. Lucic has the smaller cap.

Could be wrong tho.
