Pretty fair
Re: COL/CGY
Good to get out of Hossa while he still has some value.

I figure worst case is Hossa gets a ton of shots, and ~30 points and ~100shtoi for a year or two then retires....I don't get stuck with his cap hit if he retires like the real life Hawks.

I was thinking the same thing...don't see a huge drop off but his decline is underway. He'll help Josh's squad but smart for Casper to do this now.
Re: COL/CGY
Yeah, he is still a contributing assets, only in the short term. Not a freak of nature like Jagr.
Re: COL/CGY
Yup, it was a good deal for both of us with where our teams are at. He gets a nice bounce back candidate for a reasonable price and I get a couple future pieces I like for a player that isn't of much use to me at this point.Shoalzie wroteCOLONLee wroteCOLONGood to get out of Hossa while he still has some value.

Re: COL/CGY
I'd say Hossa can play until he is 40, but if you look at the way his contract is configured I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't finish his contract either.Lee wroteCOLONYeah, he is still a contributing assets, only in the short term. Not a freak of nature like Jagr.
