I was in Mik's league. I got the boot because I forgot to set my daily roster once in a while. The issue was that every day, every player is on the bench so you have to literally sign on and put everybody in their slot each and every day. That is fine, but it just means on a day you get busy or forget, you have your entire roster benched instead of maybe 2-3 guys that were on your bench that are not playing (like most leagues). So forgetting to set your team on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday when there are like 10-15 games, you get fucked and it is detrimental to the league. I am not saying I was a great GM, but at the time of my boot, it was easily my most active time and a couple days missed was a "cyabye" moment.

It was a pretty sweet league to be honest, the free agency was a good time. I just didn't have the time required to dedicate to it as the others.

just to clarify (don't want to look like an asshole when I don't think I was, nor the others who pushed for the removal) :
that league doesn't require for anyone to sign in each and every day. In fact you can easily set up your lineups for how many days in advance you want.
Those who still choose to do it daily (contrary to all league's recommendations) are the ones who force themselves to do it every single day, obviously exposing themselves to the risk of missing the lineup and screwing their matchup whenever a bad/different day happens in real life.

Shep's removal wasn't the result of a couple of missed lineups though. It was the sum of all occurrences that brought to that decision. Unfortunately his interest for the league got decreasing instead of growing (and as we know it has happened in other fantasy leagues as he shifted towards daily money fantasy), like often leaving injured players in his lineup (despite having players available in the farm and cap room available to sign substitutes) showed.

I'm in a 16 teamer purely on fantrax that has an opening. 23 man roster and bench, and I think 21 in the minors. 3 round draft. NHL cap hits. 4 adds per week limit but can add and drop from roster or minors at any time.

They named it the Drama Free Hockey League, 1 year old.
