Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Nuts. Really felt my guy was gonna go in the mid 20s.
Btw, nice job, Scott. You killed this.

Debrincat, Abramov, Girard, Clague, Dineen
Hoping for one of them at 31 but scouting has earned the benefit of the doubt if they take someone else based on the draft they had last year.

time will tell.Matthew wroteCOLON Btw, nice job, Scott. You killed this.
Good for the Leafs. Asplund and Tkachouk are the most likely options. Laberge too
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
anyway, hitting the bed with my Rubtsov stolen by the Flyers after they traded down. Shame!
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I mean he killed it in the sense that he used too far later picks to get 2 1st rounders. Whether they make the NHL is hard to say, but what it does mean is that they will have better trade value for him in the near future if he decides to move them.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I told you he's not very good. I wanted him all year st 25 but took the time to watch him. He reminded me of a small ryan smyth. No shot but he tries hard. He has some skill but he's too tiny and gets pushed around.Matthew wroteCOLONNuts. Really felt my guy was gonna go in the mid 20s.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
As mik once said "nhl scouts are retarded"
Dont let it bother you if one of your guy falls.
I suspected hart would go around 40 when i took him at 27. I needed a top goalie prospect so i took him where i felt comfortable.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Same players regardless of draft pick - nothing changed today.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I think league value is affected due to perception. Both of Scott's guys got a bump in value being drafted in the 1st as opposed to if they were both taken in the 7th.Nick wroteCOLONSame players regardless of draft pick - nothing changed today.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Interesting night...I feel good that Borgstrom and Frederic got picked in the first round but I would've been just as happy if they went in the 3rd round where I picked them. It's hard to say what these teams see in a player. So many of my guys are NCAA products so I'm expecting quite a few to play a few years there before turning pro. Most of the guys I picked would be deemed as "projects". Hell, I didn't even know that Tufte is diabetic.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I see that today's draft action starts at 10 a.m. (Eastern)...NHLN is airing it and I think NHL.com is going to have a stream.
