I don't know how I ended up with three 1st rounders but I'm happy that they got drafted. It would be great if the rest of them get picked or even Pius Suter and Cam Askew get picked from last year's draft. I don't go through a draft without a couple guys not being picks. That's the gamble with this format.

Wahlgren not being taken hurt, other 2 non drafted guys I didn't have high hopes for. Knew I reached for the goalie and expected Bitten to be taken after I grabbed him, though 70 is lower than anticipated. Chychrun is the wild card, hopefully he is motivated with his slide to the desert. Otherwise lotta good talent added to the system this draft, plus a bunch of picks and a 1st next year. Would've taken someone who fell a bit if I didn't move 35 for a 1st next year so that worked out for me even if the pick landed #19 Logan Stanley for Will.

All in all not a great draft for me. Wasted a 2nd and a 4th although hopefully that 2nd becomes a 1st in the next draft. Last 2 picks salvaged the rest of my picks being picked later in the NHL draft as opposed to ours. A draft to forget I think.
