I'm a raptors fan. Plus now we all know which 2 teams are in the finals so no point in watching til then
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I haven't watched basketball since Vince left. Killed any interest I had in the sport.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I dont even know who the best raptor is right now
Is it still that valenchunis guy
Or the black guy who just has way too much acne/acne scars on his face for his own good

They took them to 7 games. Going into the playoffs there were like 4 teams that had a shot. Now it appears that it's more like 2.KapG wroteCOLONWe already knew which two teams were going to be in the finals. I want to get back into the NBA again...the Pistons are back to respectability...but it's flawed when one guy can swing the balance of power in the league.
Hockey has parity and competitive balance and isn't driven by a handful of players. Some markets are more attractive than others but there's no truly hopeless franchises.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
There is no parity in the NBA and it's only getting worse. The superstars control the league and all want to play together. I guess that's just how it is in a sport where the rosters are so small.Shoalzie wroteCOLONI want to get back into the NBA again...the Pistons are back to respectability...but it's flawed when one guy can swing the balance of power in the league.

The NBA is a league where they actually would benefit from massive contraction.

They couldn't beat the Warriors with Curry hobbling all over the court. They should have never traded Harden and could've locked up arguably the best big 3 in the league for a long time. I don't blame Durant one bit. I agree though, the league is an absolute joke. College basketball is so much more exciting than the NBA.Arian The Insider wroteCOLONThey took them to 7 games. College hoops is still fun to watch but it's been hurt by early departures. I miss seeing national championship teams lead by juniors and seniors.
The NBA would benefit from having a draft system similar to hockey and baseball. Draft a player's rights at a given age and they don't have to go pro until a team opts to sign them. They hold their rights for 2 or 3 years.

Florida has signed every player in the nhl. Gonna be a lot of competition in training camp.
