GM of the year nominations

Hey fellas was planning to do another full BBKL awards but things have been pretty full on lately so it got put on the backburner.

Thought it would be good to do GM of the year atleast unless someone else wants to take on awards and the interest is there.

At any rate public or pm top 3 nominations and i will make a ballot for voting.

I think will pulled off one of the better deals of the year: acquiring Crosby in a pretty good deal. He also managed to upgrade his goaltending from the Carolina system to corey schneider, and identify some top defensive prospects who came into their own: ghostisbehere and parayko. Also, he made a nice mid 1st selection in kyle connor that seems to be working out.

I think he made some bad missteps in his first year, but some really quality steps this year.

mik, mike, matt, josh, Handsome Mike, Hong, Paul, Scott, thom, foofnik, fraser, arian, darkness...

all made improvements this year, I probably forgot a few as well.

I guess it's an argument for who improved their teams "value" vs. performance the most. There's also a bias (naturally) in this for more activity, as you could have a GM who smartly sat on assets ... we'll never know the deals many of us did NOT make.
