I don't see that happening at all. Nothing leaks from this Leafs management, when was the last time we heard about a move before it happened? Even the agent said his client didn't decline a Leafs offer, I think it's all just media rumours.

I don't think he declined the offer (from the leafs). I just think he wanted to see what else was out there (potentially hold out for more money)

I hope he's not coming to the leafs. He's an awful hockey player.

More and more teams are going with the big contract out of the ELC and not dicking around with bridge deals...a la Subban. They'll be plenty young enough to get more money when this next deal ends.
