Only differences: Getzlaf has +100 hits and +100 SHTOI and is 2 years younger.
But Spezza is 0.75M cheaper and the 17 additional goals is nothing to laugh at.

I'd say the difference is more in the name/people's perception

That is nothing to sneeze at. Let's not act like 1-1 Getz isn't the more valuable player to own. That said, this is a pretty fair trade.
