Should the contract info be auto-updating? or do you have it set up to import when you are finished?Shoalzie wroteCOLONIf there's not been problems of late, I think we go league-wide with this any time. If you haven't sent me your Gmail, please do so. I'll work on getting those out to everyone.
Current contract info is about 2/3 done. I'd like to be done with it before Labor Day weekend but it might end up being that following week.

Yes, it is updating...it just depends on what team your players are with. I'm able to get a lot more done if I just do the team-by-team thing on General Fanager. I'll get back to the birthdate and GP after I enter all the contracts. I seem to think everyone would prefer to know their cap situation when they look at their roster. I'm quite confident all the data entry will be done by the end of September.

Re: 2016-17 BBKL Google Sheets
holy shit scott... you're entering it all manually?
Re: 2016-17 BBKL Google Sheets
None of the contracts that are on the sheet now were there earlier today... Also are positions supposed to be populated or is that manual entry on our end?Shoalzie wroteCOLONYes, it is updating...it just depends on what team your players are with. Re: 2016-17 BBKL Google Sheets
On "Roster", you fill in A and B. For the weekly sheet, you fill in A through D.
You fill in your active roster on "Roster" and the weekly sheet will reference that sheet but you still have to fill in those names and positions. If you are missing a name on "Roster" and you have them on the weekly sheet, the data shouldn't appear. "Roster" is more of a summary page. Just update it when you get a new player. You move any former players to that bottom section so you don't screw up your old sheets.

Only issues I'm seeing is Alex Pietrangelo not showing up with cap figures and Jaromir Jagr as unsigned.

Re: 2016-17 BBKL Google Sheets
You've found one of the important things with these new sheets...you had Pietrangelo's name spelled right but you had a space after it. I removed the space and the contract info showed up.
Jagr and any other player that doesn't have their contract info entered in the database will appear as "Unsigned". It's a default value in the column because there's about 5000 players in the Fantrax database and only about 1500 will have signed contracts. In my database, a player won't appeared signed unless I enter a few pieces of information.
I haven't gotten to Florida yet in the team-by-team. I'm going by the total salaries list on General Fanager's home page...working top to bottom. I'm surprised Florida is 4th from the bottom in terms of team salary with all the cash they've spent this summer. For what I have left to do with contracts, it's Dallas down to Carolina. 13 teams left...I started on the Stars yesterday.

New sheets for this year (and hopefully going forward). Sheets reference a player database where you don't have to look up and enter the info yourself. I'll maintain the database. Database will be ready before the start of the season.
Send me your email If you want to start using your sheet.
