Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Dominic Moore signs with the Bruins.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
That means there will be a move involving one of Krejci or Spooner for a dman. Too many C's in beantown. Backes, Bergeron, Krejci, Spooner, Moore, Acciari....unless Spooner goes to wing which would be brutal.

NHL players might not be in the next olympics and they are trying to make the World Cup a big thing, but I imagine Europe won't buy into it as much as N.A. will. Since it is in the offseason all the best players will be there so they have that working in their favour. Having a young stars N.A. team and a team Europe takes away a bit of legitimacy, but also adds more competitiveness so I don't mind it.
Also strange Risto won't sign until after that since if he gets injured in that tournament he just lost financial security. The tourny is also going on at the same time as training camps and into preseason so he will be signing late.

Who knows in Boston. I think he is more effective as C and maybe Bruins do as well:The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONBackes is a winger imo
“We’ve got Bergeron, [David] Krejci and Backes as our first three centers. Think about that,” Jacobs said. “I don’t know if there’s a team in the Eastern Conference that is [as] three-deep at center.”

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Every UFA or RFA or player with a single year on their contract will have insurance for up to 3.5/year for 2 years provided for them. The rest are covered for the cost of their contract, and players can purchase more if they desire. As far as Risto rumor in Buffalo is he and the team are very far apart, Ekblad's deal is being tossed around as a comparable apparently.Bruyns wroteCOLONSept 17
