Don't fully buy the "developing game in other countries" theme, as I think those countries with top players are following team Europe. I dunno, I love the idea from an entertainment point, such better hockey, and the timing of the tourney is perfect... guys are geared up to get going, and what better way than for this tourney. Olympics in the middle of the season is a grind for players.

But hey - to each their own.
