Slavin doesn't have the upside of a faulk or hanifin; however, my understanding is that he's faulks #2. He's like jake muzzin to drew Doughty.

Muzzin is not a #2 dman, but has incredible chemistry with Doughty. There is a similar situation in Carolina.

I assumed all the risk in this deal, but handsome mike is a good fella, no better guy to lose a deal too.

No I meant his talent... not necessarily BBKL. As a player, he reminds of a bouwmeester type - 30 pts, logs lots of minutes, some blks, nothing flashy.
