NFL Fantasy 2016
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
How is everyone making out so far this year?
Im in 12 team sitting at 5-6 with 2 divisions. Top 2 from each division make PO's. Sitting in 4th in division with 3 teams ahead of me at 6-5. I need to win out and have others lose basically. Looking for some advice on TE. I have Gates@Houston and Ebron@Minnesota. Who would you go with. My gut says Gates cause he is so close to getting that record but Ebron has been utilized heavily and playing on Turkey day in Primetime is another bonus. I also gotta flex one of Hyde or Rawls. Leaning towards Rawls. These decisions are basically my season....

4-way tie for 1st at 7-4 in an 8 person money league at work.
TE is a toss up, Rawls is an easy decision with the injury to Procise.

Top 4 make playoffs? Whats guy in 5th place record?Bruyns wroteCOLON4-way tie for 1st at 7-4 in an 8 person money league at work.

Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
6 of 8 with two byes so 5th place at 6-5 is fine. Playoffs are pretty much set since two bottom teams have terrible records.
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Found some info on TE's:
Antonio Gates (you’re playing him for his touchdown appeal but Houston has allowed just two touchdowns to opposing tight ends and over 53 receiving yards to just one)
Eric Ebron (he’s had 70 yards receiving and at least 14 points in every game since returning while Minnesota has allowed a top-10 scoring tight end in four straight games)
Interesting....

Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Ebron did really well without a TD the last time they played Minney earlier this season. Easy play in PPR leagues. Henry is healthy again in SD so Gates is more boom bust now. Easily Ebron between the 2 for me, and I have those 2 and made the decision in one league.
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Yea, I made the switch. Gates will be targeted to get him his record but it might not be this week and the stats are against him. I can also potentially keep Ebron at years end so there is value there as well.foofnik wroteCOLONEbron did really well without a TD the last time they played Minney earlier this season. Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
My weekly dilemma is Kaepernick or Palmer. Palmer has really shit the bed for me this year. Had Brady, Palmer, Tannehill before this year (dynasty). Traded Brady for Jordan Reed and what should be a top 4 pick next year but Palmer and Tannehill sucking has hurt. Grabbed Kaep off waiver wire a few weeks ago and somehow he's consistent with 20 points a week. Been rolling with Kaep and letting my RB's win me weeks but Palmer against a leaky Atlanta D looks promising.
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Yea, thats a tough one. With Johnson in AZ, id find it hard to rely on Palmer. At least you know Kaepernick is going to be getting all those rushing yards as a safety valve. He has been quite consistent since getting the call.
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
I noticed in football there r a lot of parity in terms of players within same playing position as well as comparing players of different positions as well. I dont hear someone goin "hes the gretzky of football" let alone "he is *insert greatest footballer ever* of hockey"
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Palmer in a 1pm East Coast start is not a good idea. Neither is having to rely on Kap either. Jesus how many teams in that league?foofnik wroteCOLONMy weekly dilemma is Kaepernick or Palmer. What does Johnson have to do with Palmer sucking balls? Johnson is arguably their best receiver as well.CAM wroteCOLONYea, thats a tough one. With Johnson in AZ, id find it hard to rely on Palmer. Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
14 teams, full dynasty, really deep benches. Honestly I was surprised Kaep was even on the wire. guys like Paxton Lynch and Geno Smith are owned it's that dry.CasperX22 wroteCOLONPalmer in a 1pm East Coast start is not a good idea. Non traditional format of QB, WR, RB, TE, and 3 flex spots. Bonus points for 1st downs (non-QB's) so I go RB heavy with Bell, David Johnson, Brandon Cooks, Jordan Reed, McCoy, Doug Martin each week and I'm in 1st. Just don't have a reliable QB.
Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Well yeah having 3 #1 rbs and a top 3 TE when healthy helps.

Running two money leagues. Going to miss the playoffs in the 10-team one due to a mix of injuries and underachieving players. Doing quite well in the 14-team one however, with a top 3 record.

Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
Gotta pick 3 of these 6 for the league I'm likely eliminated from. Still technically have a chance at the last playoff spot but I'll get bounced out 1st round regardless.
Brandon Marshall
Terrell Pryor
Jarvis Landry
Kenny Britt
Willie Snead
Tyler Boyd
You can see why my team is a bust lol. Any opinions on who I should dress?

Pfft. I see your top 3 rank in your money league and raise you best record+highest scoring team in League+playoff spot clinched with 3 weeks left in regular season. That said, my team probably chokes in the playoffs as usual.Arian The Insider wroteCOLONRunning two money leagues. Re: NFL Fantasy 2016
I was highest scoring a couple weeks ago but have fallen a bit since. Christine Michael falling out of fantasy relevancy really hurt, but I picked up Robert Kelley who's made up for some of that.CasperX22 wroteCOLONPfft.
