I'm beginning to wish I hadn't moved Paul Byron. He's making me look foolish. On pace now for ~ 30 goals and 50 points. I thought he would fall off but he's just getting better.

Also, Ryan Suter played 33 minutes tonight in a game with no overtime.

The Atlantic is so strong.

If we didn't have this top 3 teams in each div make the playoffs 6 Atlantic teams would make it in the east, there are 7 teams better in the Atlantic than 3rd place in the metro, and even the last place team in the Atlantic is only 20th in the league.

Good on Chris for cracking the top 3 in the Atlantic...Montreal and Boston are really good teams also but someone has to be the wild cards.

You play to your competition. If you have a division with a lot of depth, you have to put together a good team or you're going to be buried. If you can finish top 3 in a weaker division, you're not as likely to make your team better. You'll do just enough to make the playoffs.

I had to improve my team or I'd finish in the bottom 5 in the league every year. It also shows me that I've got a lot of work just to be make it as a wild card. I probably need 2 or 3 more quality players to flirt with a playoff spot.
