Scott Mayfield - NYI, D man, waiting to crack it in. Does well in lineup, prototypical old school Defensive D man who can skate.
Boikov - COL D, RUssian World Junior D man last year, in AHL now.

Matt Irwin - D 575 K . Awesome H2H stats, but would like to upgrade him even more.

I don't think most people have wrapped their head around just how good the expansion team is going to be if Tim chooses to go that route.

He can draft 30 NHL players and then sell off extras at a premium to teams with holes in their lineups or do 2 for 1 trades to land more talent. This isn't going to be like the NHL expansion team, the fantasy one can be good right away.
