Money talks, expect lots of under the table cash deals for vets to waive their NMC so teams can protect the stud kids. You'll never hear about them but guaranteed teams are prepared to pay millions to some to get them to waive it. What's say $5m to a franchise like PIT in order to keep Murray? That's cheaper than a bad free agent signing and it doesn't count against the cap either.

I do. Teams look out for #1. Pittsburgh gave him the nmc, a player shouldn't be made into a villain when he actually wants to use it.
