My Aunt in Downtown Toronto, (Dundas st) bought her house for 35,000 in late 70's. She has double lot as well. She constantly has people knocking on her door to pay 1.5 mil for her lot and house. Her husband just passed away so now she is gonna clean up. Vancouver and Toronto housing markets are INSANE. Victoria as well.

I rent it out and live in a condo right now for commuting convenience. Lol
